Covering 460 Hectares, Brampton Island is located in the Cumberland Group of Islands, 32km north-east of Mackay at the Southern entrance to the Whitsunday Passage.

This large and beautiful National Park Island is surrounded by a diverse range of fringing reefs, and features twelve beautiful beaches, with seven being easily accessible via the National Park walking trails - each affording spectacular views.

With fewer rooms than many of the resorts at the nearby Whitsunday Group of Islands, and with no day trippers to interrupt the peace and solitude, you will undoubtedly find a special place to reconnect with your true self.

Inspired by the beautiful waters of Voyages Brampton Island, the Sea Spa is set amongst tropical gardens to provide you with a peaceful escape. Enjoy a selection of spa treatments that nurture the mind and restore the body. The Sea Spa's treatments focus on the healing qualities of the sea and earth.

There are four types of accommodation on Brampton Island:

Palm Rooms
Palm Rooms have a garden view outlook with private balcony or outdoor area overlooking native gardens. They located a short distance away from the main beach but close to all resort facilities.

Island View Rooms
Set amongst native gardens, these rooms are compact and comfortable. Interiors are bright with a tropical theme and each room has a small private balcony or patio, some offering Carlisle Island or ocean view glimpses. 

Ocean View Rooms
With a stunning beachside location, Ocean View Rooms offer a generous in size with many appealing features. Double sliding doors open out onto a large L-shaped balcony or terrace area to enjoy ocean breezes and sensational views of the Whitsunday passage.

Premium Ocean View Rooms
Premium Beachfront location with the best accommodation views on the island. Rooms are modern with a king size bed, large and comfortable lounge chairs and contemporary furnishings. CD player, evening turn-down service, waffle weave bathrobes and aromatherapy oil burners are just some of the exclusive features included in this grade. An outdoor area offers a private hammock and guests receive a bottle of premium sparkling wine on arrival.

Dining:

Bluewater Restaurant and Beach BBQ
The Bluewater Restaurant is the main dining area for the resort. Full buffet breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am, smorgasbord lunch from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and 3 course table d'hote or themed buffet dinner from 6.00pm to 8.30pm every night. The Restaurant serves a sensational seafood buffet once a week.

Romantic private beach and balcony dinners are available (surcharge applies).

Aqua Lounge
The indoor and outdoor bar is open daily from 9.30am to late. Serving drinks including cocktails, smoothies, coffee and snack food. The Aqua Lounge features evening entertainment each night.

Getting There:
Major flight arrivals into Mackay from Virgin Blue and Jetstar, as well as Qantaslink and Tiger Air. A launch runs from Mackay Marina to Brampton Island daily at 2pm (departs Brampton at 3.45pm daily). The boat transfer between Mackay Marina and Brampton Island departs at 1pm and takes approximately 1 hour.

Children under the age of 12 years are not catered for.
