All our holiday plans along with the transport from Cairns Airport to the small plane, that took us to Dunk Island went smoothly. Our accommodation was delightful (beachfront suite)especially the beautiful water view and the sunsets from our balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on arrival. The meals were great, and we could not belive the number of activities on offer. The Island has lovely walks in the rain forest and National Park.On our last day late in the afternoon we had the \\\"Romantic Package\\\" at the Spa of Peace and Plenty and we thoroughly recommended it , and great way to end such a beautiful holiday. The majority of the staff on the Island were very friendly and helpful.
We would like to especially say thankyou to Natash from Travstar.com for organising our holiday,it all went so smoothly.
Kind Regards Pat & Ken

With a young family the expereince was great. Stayed 5 nights and kept busy. The food and service was great. We stayed in the garden room and while room was basic they were certainly clean and for us they were close to pools/playgrounds which we preferred with the young kids. Going end of May had benefits as not many people around (weather weas great) but some things were cancelled due to lack of people participating. Definately would go again.

The most beautiful island I have visited so far. So many birds, flowers and butterflies. Dunk Island is an easy escape, the rooms are superb and facilities are excellent, just wish I could have stayed longer!
and I highly recommend the flight.

We were in a Beachfront Room on the 1st floor, which was fantastic. Facilities were excellent and the buffet food in the restaurant was superb. Fantastic location.

Dunk Island Resort is a fantastic holiday experience; the location is really special, you are nestled right in the rain forest (geckos, bats, frogs, turtles... fantastic!) and everything is within easy walking distance. The food and service was sublime, staff very friendly and professional which made such a difference to our stay. Activities are well priced, varied and organised. A great place to visit for couples (romantic dining in the evening on the beach sipping some well-priced sumptuous Australian/NZ wines) and families seem to have all amenities available. Cannot wait to return to the island and the resort.

Generally the service was excellent except our last night where we waited over 40minutes for water and to make an order. The food was excellent. The majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent destination with kids and hope to go back again one day.

We loved dunk, plenty of activities and great walks. The only down side was often waiting too long for evening meals, most likely as it was school holidays.

Dunk Island is paradise. Facilities faultless with plenty of activities to keep everyone busy with lots of incentives to relax as well. Highlight was the snorkling the reef and the view from our room!

The charter flight to Dunk island from Cairns was definately one of the major highlights, service & staff was excellent.Had to go to Mission Beach to get general grocery items for kids, snacks and drinks. Resort was expensive in that regard.Overall Loved Dunk & Thanks Travstar for the great service
