Part of a protected Marine Park, Green Island is a beautiful coral cay which is readily identified from the air by its emerald rainforest surrounded by white sandy beaches and beautiful coral reefs.
Discover the fascinating underwater world among the coral reefs surrounding Green Island where you will see an endless variety of incredible marine creatures. It is the perfect place to snorkel, scuba dive, swim all year round, view the coral and fish life from the comfort of a glass bottom boat or semi-submersible or just relax on the sandy beaches.Other fun, affordable activities include Parasailing, Marineland Melanesia, Beach Hire, Rainforest Boardwalk and Underwater Observatory.
"Big Cat" is a comfortable air-conditioned 35 metre catamaran with spacious, luxurious interior cabins and a relaxed atmosphere. "Big Cat" departs Cairns daily at 9:00am and returns at 5:00pm. Alternatively the half day option on "Reef Rocket" departs at 9:00am, 11:00am or 1:00pm, allowing 2 or 4 hours on Green Island, returning at 1:00pm or 5:00pm

Your tour includes either a Glass Bottom Boat tour OR Snorkelling gear. You can upgrade to the Semi-Sub tour as well as buffet lunch (full day tour) and coach transfers. Lunch comprises of a hot & cold buffet with salads, vegetarian lasagne, beef curry and tropical fruits.
Semi Submarine:Explore the underwater world of the reef in air-conditioned comfort on the "Yellow Sub"…without even getting wet. Seated below water level you are treated to a diver’s view of the coral reef and marine life with informative commentary and lively fish feeding.
Green Island is also available as a full day combo package including Cairns Habitat Cruises.
