A great day out at Fitzroy, except for the rain! The guys on the boat were really funny and cheeky. The kayaking was great, except we would have liked to spend a little longer out there because where we snorkelled we could have just walked to (due to the weather). The snorkelling was amazing and I swam with a Hawksbill Sea Turtle! The facilities were lacking a bit with the resort not open, so we had to bring our own food. The only toilets on the island had no toilet paper, were dirty and some had no seats. Overall, we really enjoyed our time relaxing, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and exploring the island!

he actual kayaking was excellent and enjoyable. The Fitzroy Island facilities, despite the rebuilding, have a lot to be desired. Snorkelling was the only activity on offer.
