The Cod Hole is an Internationally Famous Dive destination offering very exciting year round diving. This trip has been internationally acclaimed as the premier Cod Hole service providing superb spacious accommodation, maximum diving time and stability.

THE VESSEL:

4 DAY 3 NIGHT ITINERARY:
The Monday departure begins with a spectacular low level scenic flight to Lizard Island where you connect with the Mike Ball Vessel.
Swim, play with, and photograph a family of giant potato cod at the Cod Hole. Explore the nooks and crannies of pristine coral gardens at Challenger Bay. Experience a diverse array of nocturnal marine species on the night dive.
Tuesday you will be gliding along Pixie's Wall with a procession of golden gorgonian fans lining the base. Admire magnificent giant clams and spectacular coral gardens with an array of fish species. The night dive is at Flare Point where green turtle sightings are common.
Wednesday join the Big Eye Trevally and Barracuda as they school around Steve's Bommie. Also visit Fish Market and Great Escape with beautiful coral gardens dotted with giant clams.
Thursday is the final day. Early morning docking and breakfast onboard Spoilsport before returning to Cairns City.

MINKE WHALES:
Dive with Dwarf Minke Whales on the 3 and 4 Night Expeditions between May and August. Specialised Minke Whale expeditions commence during the peak months of June and July. Mike Balls special Minke Whale Permit allows guests to observe and interact with these creatures at close range. Please enquire for further details and availability.
7 DAY CORAL SEA SAFARI:
This expedition is a combination of both the Cod Hole and Coral Sea itineraries. No repeat sites are on this itinerary apart from the famous Cod Hole. Please ask one of our friendly consultants for further details...
