Sprit of Freedom will take you on a luxurious adventure to Australia's Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef.

This trip departs every Monday and Thursday.

The Monday departure is from Trinity Wharf at 12:00 noon and allows guests to stay out for the full 7 days.

Thursday departures are at 9:00am by light aircraft from Cairns, for a scenic reef flight to Lizard Island. This trip returns to Cairns at 12 noon the following Thursday by low level flight from Lizard Island. This itinerary returns to Cairns on the Monday for a 5 hour stopover, however guests can enjoy the bonus of the flight each way on the 7-day Thursday departure.

The 7 day itinerary offers a combination of the two trips - the Cod Hole & Ribbon Reefs and the Coral Sea. Both trips start with a couple of orientation dives on the Outer Barrier Reef, followed by an overnight journey to your main destination.

You will have the opportunity to dive the Cod Hole and nearby Ribbon Reefs, visiting sites such as Pixie Pinnacle and Steve's Bommie. The Coral Sea trip offers three days of diving, covering two Coral Sea Reef systems which includes Osprey and Bougainville reefs. There is the opportunity to complete up to 24 dives within this trip, including 7 night dives.

At 37 metres, the Spirit of Freedom is Australia's largest live-aboard dive vessel. She features three decks of spacious comfort including sun deck with spa, lounge and bar, dining saloon, and huge dive deck. The Spirit offers smooth and comfortable cruising at 12 knots with electronic stabilisers and silent generators.

The vessel can accommodate 28 passengers in 11 spacious cabins. Cabin options are double, twin, triple and quad share. All cabins are finished in Canadian Oregon timber and have private ensuites and wardrobes. The vessel is fully air-conditioned throughout and each cabin has it's own temperature control for your individual comfort.

The Spirit of Freedom is also equipped with entertainment areas, so the diving is only a part of the experience. Delicious chef prepared meals can be enjoyed throughout the day and complimentary Australian wines are offered with dinner. There is also a comprehensive marine library, VCR/DVD movies, and a fully stocked bar. Nitrox fills, camera hire, and CD downloading are also available on board.

A multi-talented and professional crew will look after all your needs on board Spirit of Freedom. The dive team are experienced locals who are only too happy to share their extensive reef knowledge as well as a little 'Aussie' good humour.
