These two tours can be done on any day in no particular order. Please advise at the time of booking.

Day One: Aquarius Low Isles Cruise

Experience the ultimate in luxury sailing and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef with Aquarius.

Daily from Reef Marina Port Douglas. Boarding commences at 8:30am for a 8:45am departure, returning approx 4pm

Your day to Low Isles includes:
• Transfers from Port Douglas hotels
• Morning and afternoon tea, Plunger coffee and tropical fruit
• Tropical buffet lunch including local prawns
• Snorkelling equipment, Floatation devices, Prescription masks if required, Wetsuits & lycra sunsuits
• Glass bottom boat tours
• Guided snorkel tour and tuition
• Interpretive Island Walk

Aquarius is a 62ft vessel carrying a maximum of 23 guests on a unique and personalised sailing and reef experience to this pristine coral cay.

Guests enjoy snorkelling and swimming amongst spectacular marine life including parrotfish, green sea turtles and fusiliers or view them from the custom-designed glass bottom boat, in the tranquil waters of the Low Isles lagoon.

A journey to Low Isles is not complete without a trip ashore to learn about the history and environment that makes Low Isles what it is today. Enjoy the easy pace of the Interpretive Island Walk. Inspect the historical Lighthouse, the Lighthouse Keeper's home and the Weather Station where local weather data is collected.

8.00am - Guests transferred from Port Douglas hotels to Reef Marina
8.30am - Board and enjoy fresh juice, tea or coffee, and pastries
8.45am - Depart Reef Marina and sail to Low Isles
10.00am - Arrive at Low Isles lagoon to start your reef tour:
~ Comprehensive safety and snorkel brief
~ Local tea and fresh coffee, Tropical fruit platters, Danish pastries
~ Glass bottom boat
~ Interpretive Island Walk
~ Snorkelling from Aquarius or the beach
12.00pm - Lunch onboard, interpretive reef talk
12.45pm - Snorkel tours and glass bottom boat tours
2.30pm - Aquarius sets sail for Port Douglas
4.00pm - Arrive Reef Marina, Port Douglas
4.15pm - Guests transferred to accommodation

Day Two: Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation

The ultimate in touring Far North Queensland, Tropical Journeys Daintree Tours deliver the finer places of the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge.

Enjoy interpretive rainforest walks, exclusive estuarine crocodile and wildlife spotting on Cooper Creek as well as friendly and knowledgeable local guides.

Travel in air-conditioned comfort in either a 11 seater Mercedes Sprinter or a 20 seater Toyota Coaster, depending on passenger numbers.

Scenic drive
through picturesque agricultural farms of sugar cane lining the highway on the way to the Daintree River Ferry crossing.

Daintree River Ferry Crossing - Cross the famous Daintree River by cable ferry - enter the rich and diverse ecosystems of the wet tropics. Once across the river, a completely different landscape appears, one that has been untouched for millions of years. Travel through the Daintree Rainforest, over the Alexandra Range, through a quaint township of Cow Bay then on to the famous Cape Tribulation.

Cape Tribulation – Enjoy a walk along the pristine Cape Tribulation Beach - the only place where two World Heritage destinations (the reef and the rainforest) meet.

Morning Tea – local Daintree Tea or freshly plunged coffee served with fresh fruit and muffins.

Cooper Creek Wilderness Cruise – spot the prehistoric estuarine crocodile. Situated in the Noah Valley, the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Cooper Creek is lined with mangroves and has an amazing backdrop of rainforest clad mountains, including Thornton's Peak.

Lunch - a delicious picnic lunch

Guided Rainforest Walks – enjoy personalised guided walks in the Marrdja, Dubuji or Jindalba. Embrace the rich diversity of this unique area.

Alexandra Lookout - enjoy panoramic views from the 'top of the Daintree'. Sweeping views across the Daintree River, Snapper Island and Port Douglas.

Daintree Ice-cream Company – guests can purchase a cup of ice-cream flavoured with rare and unusual fruits of the tropics.

Mossman Gorge – walk along elevated boardwalks to explore the ancient forest and cool off in the various swimming holes with fresh mountain water cascading over round granite boulders.

Return - to Port Douglas.

Daily from Port Douglas hotels at 7:30am returning approx 5pm.
