Taking a maximum of only 12 passengers with 3 trained and experienced, you’ll receive personalised attention not possible on the larger tour vessels.

Coral Sea Dreaming is a modern 18 metre (60’) Ketch made of steel with a beautiful wooden interior and different cabin options to please the most discerning traveller. She is spacious and comfortable, featuring 3 private cabins and 6 single bunks.

Coral Sea Dreaming owns more moorings than any other reef sailing tour, with 17 exclusive sites including Milne Reef, Norman Reef, Moore Reef, Thetford Reef, Hastings Reef and Breaking Patches. This trip caters to snorkellers, intro and certified divers.

Itinerary:

Day One:

Arrive onboard and enjoy a light breakfast before departing for the Great Barrier Reef. Morning tea will be served while sailing to your first reef location. On arrival at the reef enjoy time to snorkel and dive, followed by lunch and more scuba diving, snorkelling or sunbathing. Relax while dinner is served on deck with the reef and sunset in the background.

Day Two:

Wake up on the reef and enjoy fresh coffee or tea and a morning swim - snorkel or dive. Depart to the next reef location, specially selected by the experienced crew. Full breakfast is served and then in water activities resume or you can just laze around on the deck. Lunch is served before 'Hoisting the Sails' as you journey back to Cairns from the reef.

The selected scuba dive and snorkel sites are not frequented by the masses and are chosen for their unique coral formations and abundant marine life. You can enjoy water-based activities including snorkelling, introductory and certified scuba diving, or if you’re looking for something a little more relaxing, simply come aboard with a great book and enjoy the serenity and the beauty of  the Great Barrier Reef.

The objective is to allow you to experience the reef at your own pace. If you wish you can join in and help sail the boat or just ‘supervise’ from the deck. The experienced and friendly crew will pay every attention to your comfort and well being…to ensure that you return from your Great Barrier Reef Sail and Dive Adventure with fantastic memories to last a lifetime.

Departures:
Coral Sea Dreaming departs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Departures are from Finger “D” at the Marlin Marina in Cairns and boarding time is 8:00 am.

The boats departs at approx 8:30 am.

The boat returns at approx 4:30 pm.
