ReefQuest is a purpose built, high-speed snorkel and dive vessel departing Cairns daily at 9am to visit the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.

Catering for snorkellers, certified and introductory divers, ReefQuest is aimed more toward the budget traveller or those who want to maximise their time at the reef. ReefQuest travels to the Outer Great Barrier Reef in less than 90 minutes - less time travelling, more time at the reef.

Divers Den have 14 of the best permanent moorings within the Cairns section of the Marine Park. Norman, Saxon, Hastings and Michaelmas Reefs provide excellent diving and snorkelling for all experience levels.

Besides the colourful array of reef life, 'Wally' a 1.5m diver friendly Maori Wrasse always provides great entertainment to all divers and snorkellers and is fun to photograph at Norman Reef.

There is plenty of time during the day to snorkel or conduct up to 3 scuba dives. All snorkelling equipment and floatation devices are included in your trip. A crew member will also be on hand conducting snorkel tours and guiding those who are less comfortable in the water, ensuring fun and safety for everyone.

If you have never dived before, you can experience the wonders of the reef by joining a qualified and experienced dive instructor on an introductory dive. Simply complete and pass a short medical questionnaire, listen to a short briefing and you are off to blow bubbles underwater!

Please Note: A history of asthma, heart, ear and other medical conditions may preclude a passenger from Intro diving. 18 hours surface interval is recommended before flying.
