Timetables operate to connect with all arriving and departing flights into Hamilton Island Airport for arriving and departing guests. Ferry services also connect with Whitsunday Transit for coach services to and from Whitsunday Coast Airport.

The Fantasea Express service to/from Hamilton Island Airport and Airlie Beach offers the most direct schedule available. Guests arriving at the Hamilton Island Airport can enjoy a faster, seamless transfer to the mainland with an all inclusive complimentary bus service to their hotel accommodation upon arrival at Shute Harbour.

Flights to Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) are met by Whitsunday Transit Coaches for services to and from Shute Harbour with connections for passengers to Hamilton Island.

The Hamilton Island Golfing ExperienceHamilton Island Golf Club is the only 18-hole championship island golf club in Australia! The par-71 course was designed by five-times British Open winner Peter Thompson and is located on neighbouring Dent Island, a 10-minute boat ride from Hamilton Island.
The course boasts stunning views of the island’s rugged terrain clear across the waters to the Whitsunday islands and mainland beyond. The clubhouse is a destination in itself, with a luxurious restaurant, bar and lounge area boasting panoramic views of Passage Peak and the sparkling Coral Sea.

Tee times are available from 7.00am until 1.00pm and guest can play 9 or 18 holes. A shared golf cart is included in your booking.

Getting There
Your Hamilton Island Golfing Experience provides return Fantasea ferry transfers from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island and return transfers from Hamilton Island to Dent Island. Ferry transfer times will be confirmed upon booking a tee time.
